Why use a web bug if what we really want is a web counter. Web bugs are
used when you *don't* want to tell your readers that you are counting
them. Users of tldp won't care if they are counted. However, does that
counting have any need what-so-ever to be hidden? As a user of tldp
HOWTOs and FAQs, I feel better knowing that I'm in good company (large
hit count on reading documentation).
Or something like that. :)
