Perern Hernberg let me know
| I'll gladly give you permission to release a modified document under
| whichever Creative Commons licenses you see fit.
So, the User Authentication howto is becoming CC-licensed.
I learned from this list that every howto has to include the full license
text, so I took
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/1.0/legalcode
and tried to make a docbook snippet out of it:
http://floris.patat.org/cc-sa.txt
My question is simple: did I use the right DocBook tags?
I tried to avoid that the license's structure would be included in the
table of contents of the HOWTO. I also tried to preserve the enumeration
style. Maybe I should use some <variablelist>s instead of only orderedlists?
As a final remark, I don't know the license of the 'license text'.
So it *could be* that I'm violating copyright if I include the license text
in the HOWTO itself.
CreativeCommons.org suggest "You should then include a Creative Commons
"Some Rights Reserved" button on your site, near your work. " (see
http://creativecommons.org/learn/licenses/).
So the second question becomes: should I (and can I) actually include the
license text in the howto?
thanks in advance
Floris
