I don't know--what is the problem? For users who know LyX this is probably
a totally acceptable solution. Any if anyone emails the list saying they
have a new HOWTO that they would like to submit in LyX we can point them
to the same resources you pointed us to. They can convert their documents
to a format that we accept and the world will be a better place.
