Not to worry, the XSL style sheets have the ability to create multiple page documents. In fact you can create three types of docs: single page, multi-page divided by sections or multi-page divided by chapters. Look in the 'doc' directory of the tldp-xsl-DATE.tar.gz package and you will find a short HOWTO explaining how to do this.
