Hello Luigi,

Yes I put my hand up for the Enterprise Java for Linux HOWTO a couple of
months back. I got permission from the original authors, plus the last
volunteer for maintainer Mylene Reiners, to go ahead. One of the
original authors (Greg Wilkins) even offered to help:

My progress to date is quite slow however, owing to other documentation
commitments, my day job, etc. I'm still in the information-gathering
stage, and haven't actually started the task of re-writing and updating
yet: the whole doc really needs a re-write IMHO, it's that old:
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Enterprise-Java-for-Linux-HOWTO.html

Tomcat, JBoss, mod_jk and mod_jk2 should certainly be central to the new
version of the doc. I was also planning to omit the non-free Java
servers (Websphere, Weblogic, etc.) covered in the last version, and
instead supply links to the vendors' documentation.

So it sounds as if you're working on more-or-less the same document as I
am. Would you like to make your doc into the new Enterprise Java for
Linux Howto, and Greg and I will help and contribute if you like? I
suspect it might get completed a lot a quicker that way.

Cheers,
