Hi all,
I've given a look at the documents. Apache compilation
and installation, in my document, are quite brief. The
most detailed parts are the tomcat, mod_jk and
mod_jk2 configuration. For the last one there is
definitely overlapping with the MMBase-Inst Howto.
Moreover I was planning to write a section about JBoss
in the next few months, but I've just found out there
is the Enterprise Java for Linux HOWTO (which has a
new mantainer, apparently). Excluding the parts which
are already covered in other documents would make, in
my opinion, the howto rather incomplete. So I think it
would be better to publish the document as it is.
There are even issues about new versions of the
softwares we talk about in our respective documents to
consider. Let's take Tomcat 5 as an example, readers
of one of the documents could be more interested in
having a section about it sooner than readers of the
other documents. Please let me know what you think.
Have a nice day
Luigi
