David,

The FAQ addresses SSH1 and SSH2 where I plan to focus on OpenSSH. I know
they are similar but there are key differences.

As far as a merge is concerned I have already begun and most of the
topics in the FAQ are topics I already plan to include. As the only
intersection, really, is in the topics I don't see the benefit in
merging the two. Contacting the author of the FAQ, however, is a good
idea and I plan to do so. I would welcome input and contributions from
any source.

Your statement: "getting an SSH doc up on the LDP is a good idea but I
think there is more than enough material already out there" is
contradictory. You seem to be saying it's a good idea and a waste of
time in the same sentence. I'm confused as to your true feelings on the
matter.

As most of the feedback has been encouraging and my momentum is already
moving forward I plan to continue with the document. If after today I
get a deluge of emails saying "been done, covered to death, don't
bother" I will reconsider. At this point in time, however, I feel the
effort is worthwhile.

Thank you again for the links as I had seen neither of them before. I
welcome your feedback when the document is in the draft stage.

Jeff
