You have to register in the language zone where you live, I think.  
If we have Swedish volunteers, it would be an option to have one of them 
register docs for those people who are financially disadvantaged in their 
country.

I have a very large ego, which protects me against bashing criticism ;-)
But indeed the main reason is to enable people to look up free docs and to 
give more credentials to TLDP.

Well, it's only the first time I'm doing this, but I'll keep you all 
posted on how things proceed.

I don't understand this.  What do you mean?  That somebody should apply 
for a number for the entire collection, after all?  People have been angry 
just because the idea alone...  Please clarify.
