Rodolfo, I am another howto author and the other day I also switched
from RH 7.1 to RH 9.0 (although I heard that RH has stopped to offer
support etc). Anyway, I checked for my RPMs:
[misko@localhost misko]$ rpm -qa *docbook*
docbook-dtds-1.0-17
docbook-style-dsssl-1.76-8
docbook-style-xsl-1.58.1-2
docbook-utils-pdf-0.6.12-5
docbook-utils-0.6.12-5
[misko@localhost misko]$ rpm -qa *xml*
xmltex-20000118-13
libxml2-2.5.4-1
perl-libxml-perl-0.07-28
libxml2-python-2.5.4-1
xml-common-0.6.3-14
perl-libxml-enno-1.02-29
libxml-1.8.17-8
xmlto-0.0.12-3
[misko@localhost misko]$
Please let me know if I have all what is needed or I should add
something else. I have never used any of the packages mentioned. In
fact, I maintain the howto's with just plain text editors and put tags
manually. I 'd like to start with some more modern environment (within
GUI if possible).

Misko
