On the subject of changing section and chapter IDs, not to beat a dead
horse here, but the labelling of these items should not really be
changed unless okay with the author, not just because of the resulting
html filename, but because there are often cross references that get
broken in the process.

If I am reviewing a document and suggest chapter or section IDs, if the
author picks them, I leave them alone.  I may add a few, but usually
propose it, and advise that if they want it to be named something
different to go ahead and do so.  It's their doc.  :D

I remember your case, Chris, with Lyx and the problems we had with
that.  So I understand your request perfectly, and I think it was a good
idea you mentioned it.

Honestly, I'm unclear as to why this has caused such a stir otherwise,
in support of being able to change them.  Unless a person is the author,
it makes sense to check before doing something like that on their own.
