Creative Commons Attribution license, the most liberal license I
could find short of public domain.

I've been requested to use GFDL instead, but I'd rather go with a
license that freely permits reuse and modification. The former
because that's the whole point of the WHATIS idea, and the latter
because I see alternative as a significant, ongoing obstacle to
keeping LDP documents up to date.
