I am very interested in this and have attempted to express my
willingness to help.

There are numerous (exact numbers on request, hi Rick :) ), bugs on TLDP
documents in the Debian system.  Attempts to contact the authors have
been made, but no response has been received.   A couple of responses
have been received with the author basically saying that they won't be
maintaining the document.  

I think the best way to handle the problem is to work in cooperation
with TLDP.  If that isn't something that TLDP is interested in, I will go
back and try to work on it from the Debian side.

Please, can we discuss this issue.
