No, we don't check gender.

You could get a very very rough idea by looking at the archives of the
"techtalk" list: http://linuxchix.org/pipermail/techtalk/ and counting
male and female names. This would be inadequate for a number of reasons:
active posters aren't the same as all members; techtalk doesn't have
exactly the same subscribers as the other nine (or so) lists; some names
don't have an obvious gender... but it might give you an idea of the
feel of the lists.

PS I don't know how much this list enforces on-topicness, but this is
definitely non-LDP now. Feel free to join the LinuxChix mailing lists
though.
