There seems to be a fairly active linux-parport mailing list; details
are at http://www.torque.net/parport/archive/. You might inquire
there.
I haven't used a USB ZIP drive; only parallel port. How much does the
ZIP drive differ from other USB removable media drives? I'm wondering
if it might be more appropriate to fold your new material into USB
documentation, either here or at the Linux USB Project
(http://www.linux-usb.org/), and amend the existing HOWTO to point to
your material.
