I've never been pleased with FOP's PDF output; too rough around
the edges.  PassiveTeX has more attractive output, but is just
short of impossible to get working.

XEP rocks, but that's a whole 'nother flame war.

I've never tried generating HTML with FOP; I'll have to give that
a shot.
