While this is true,
DNS (Domain Name System) which converts Internet IP addresses
like 129.42.16.99 into names like "www.ibm.com";
it is usually forward DNS people desire most when connecting to the
Internet. What you describe above is reverse DNS.
My only (general) remark is that you could be a bit more concise.
This is simply my preference, and doesn't reflect on the current
content of the HOWTO.
