Hi:
Just a heads-up here... since I am starting a HOWTO on setting up a small
firewall, I looked over the Firewall-HOWTO on TLDP briefly to see what
material was already presented and did not need to be rewritten. To my
surprise, that document needs an update: its last update was on 2000-02-26
and for example, it does not cover iptables at all, but only ipfwadm and
ipchains.
May I suggest that firewalls become ever more important in today's
Internet, and that this is a document which merits swift and thorough
review/update given its relevance to practically everyone?
