Exactly. In addition, we're also getting hammered with actual messages
coming into our mailboxes, carrying these attachments.

In our company, all desktops run Linux except one (which runs an Indian
financial accounting package, and has no email or Web access). Many of
our employees have signed up for various mailing lists. Last week, one
person got 43 messages with the infected attachment in one morning. The
intensity of these incoming messages has varied from person to person
here, I guess depending on how many infected PCs have each of our email
addresses.

We set up email and networking infrastructure for our clients. One
customer told us that they had received about 25,000 email messages with
this virus in one night. This is a firm of lawyers, with barely sixty to
seventy email addresses, but handling cases for clients from India and
elsewhere. Another client, which is a mid-sized Indian software company
with about 3,500 users, practically had its email flow down for about
four days, because of these messages.

We don't have any anti-virus filters in our company. Never needed them
yet. Our computers are not infected, but it's very irritating to see the
flood of junk email.

Shuvam
