I would like to know how can i contribute with a howto.
The idea is to write it about a "generic in some way" subject: "integrating
Linux services and MS Domains", covering services like sendmail smtp,
gnupop3d, samba as a appliance, squid autenticating against MS Domain, etc.
The main idea is using the pam subsystem and winbindd to show the users how
could the diferent "standard" services of a linux box could be modified to
be integrated in a MS Domain, even, covering AD, and show its utilities in
the enterprise world.
Of course that could be more organized to do "Squid+MS Domain" "Sendmail+MS
Domain" and so on, but if the idea is to show how winbindd and pam could
work together to integrate the authentication of the services that could
run in a linux box into a Microsoft Domain, in my opinion need to be a
whole document that shows the beggining and some examples like the
mentioned above.
