But I think that older CD ROM drives can't handle them.  If they have
a newer CD drive they likely also have a modem that can download the LDP
docs in less than 30 minutes.  While that's happening they can compute
on another virtual console.  Downloading insures that the info is as
fresh as can be and that they get it in the format they prefer.  I
understand that some cheap CD-Rs may be defective.

I suggest that we give away flyer sheets telling about the LDP and
listing a couple of nearby mirror sites (after checking them out first
to make sure they're alive).
