Eh, the only noticable difference to the author is that XML is a bit
more strict (you can't use any of sgml's "shortcuts", which not
being able to use them is a Good Thing IMO). I'd just do XML right
from the start if I were you - it's easy to convert XML to SGML,
because XML is a subset of it, but can be difficult the other way
around because of those various "shortcuts".
