wrong on ISDN or dsl lines. I think there will no more be phone/modem
internet lines in a near future (for the average user)

LDP don't use XML, it uses docbook, that is not the same. HOWTO format
will still stay a little peculiar and need some learning.
However I never said that online editing should be mandatory, only
available.
I use to work at different places (home, vacations, midday free time)
and can't have my docs at hand, there online is best.
