Yes, I have been using docbook in my workplace.

Doxygen and doc++ are a kind of tools to prettyprint source code to
publish it. The literate programming paradigm is a methodology to
write programs and not just to prettyprint source code and doxygen and
doc++ may be out of the scope of the HOWTO buy I can write about them.

I think that in the future the doxygen an doc++ tools may help the
development of new literate programming tools.
