Hello,

Read the Linus manifesto.
Linus can leave or die, Linux won't unless everybody wish to.

The kernel has about 4 000 000 of code lines.
Linus wrote             70 000 lines of code. 
Even if they are important lines, better programmers than
Linus can maintain those 2% of code.
