Best not even to spell-check, as different versions of a language have
different spellings, and occasionally a mispelling is deliberate to
make a point. Spell checkers don't always handle archaisms
correctly. Also, your spell checker may not handle all correctly spelt
words.

This is probably not the best way to determine what is legal and what
is not.
