I think any experience, which can add to the documentation is valuable
and will be helpful.
I don't think that one person's opinion would stop people of sharing
their knowledge and experience, but it is true, that Oracle documents
are sort of not quite in order.
There is no, however, a right way to write Oracle + Linux (Any
distribution) piece, which could be a generic all-problem-solver
document. At least from the experience I have, you always bump into
something unusual when installing a new version.
I'd suggest you right a draft and we can eventually combine efforts to
make more generic document, including Slackware (or any distribution)
document, if we have enough support from other enthusiasts.
