The issue of Michael Crawford's C++ guide seems to have
short-circuited any discussion of the original questions.
For my 2 cents worth, I think this is an interesting idea, and
I'm not aware of any current projects along these lines (although
my lack of awareness should not be construed as anything
resembling a definitive assertion of nonexistence).
My suspicion is that the LDP is a better home than sourceforge.
