Was: How to Create Your First Debian Package

Hi all,

a new draft is available at:

http://www.kclee.com/clemens/unix/HowToCreateYourOwnDebianPackage.html

I don't know if the new title is any better, please let me know, and don't
hesitate to propose another concrete title. I hope the 'Binary' makes it
clear that source packages are not covered.

I also hope in the first and last section the point that this document is not
about official Debian packages is sufficiently emphasized and that source
packages are the way to go there. Actually I have used some of the original
sentences/words I have received as feedback from Colin Watson and Bill
Allombert (thx BTW, and it's mentioned in the credits section).

The info about mini howtos not used anymore is noted, and I might drop the
word mini everywhere later.

There is roughly 1/3 of the text newly added, covering important steps
like using 'lintian' and 'fakeroot' and summarizing all steps done. You can
directly jump to these new sections here:

http://www.kclee.com/clemens/unix/HowToCreateYourOwnDebianPackage.html#section5

Thanks again for your time and everyones previous feedback,
   Clemens

P.S. Regarding the title, if you want to voice your opinion regarding the
title but have no new idea, here is what came to my mind (or was suggested by
Colin) in historical order (so you might want to start reading from the
bottom, just in case). Just stating your favorites or absolute no nos might
already help:
