http://www.zope.org/Documentation/Articles/STX says that you can convert
StructuredText to DocBook and that this was used for the Zope Book.
http://docutils.sf.net/ describes the new version of structured text (rST)
and also provides a converter at
http://docutils.sourceforge.net/sandbox/oliverr/docbook/
