Dear Greg and others,
We're facing a bit of a problem maintaining the Usenet HOWTO, because of
lack of access to the LDP CVS area. We still haven't heard from anyone
about enabling of our account; we've filled in the application form
online a second time after receiving some feedback about our original
application not being suitable. The upshot is, all the changes we've
done since our original submission are still with us, not checked into
LDP's CVS.
Therefore, the changes _you've_ just checked in are updates to a version
which is already a week _stale_ at our end, because we've made many
updates to our internal copy (we use CVS here too) of the HOWTO. :(
We'll now have to manually merge our updated version with your updated
and checked-in version.
Can we please get CVS access to the LDP server RSN? This double-effort
is getting on our nerves. :)
regards,
Shuvam
