Perhaps the proponents of a LDP style guide were right in that
humor and similar stylish language should be outright banned.
My interpretation of the initial announcement

# I am writing a HOWTO to help young hackers newly converted
# from the dark side to get used to the GNU/Linux development
# environment quickly.

put very different semantics into "the dark side".
I guess there is no contender to my title of shadiest
wannabe contributor to LDP.
