And that's exactly why we try to track down the author first
and foremost. Failing that, if the doc is 'free' it's up for grabs.
If this poses a problem due to license constraints, should we
simply create a new derivative and remove the unmaintained document
from the collection altogether? That's an area we need to resolve.
