Hi,

well I know only microsoft translated excel's functions, so that in french we
have a nice "Si" instead of if but well... As far as french is concerned it
is not a language really usable for scripting because you need a sentence, a
context, whereas in english you can easily put words alone, there is no
conjugation, the words are sometimes shorter, that is why I assume most
programming languages are in english, but variable's name are often in the
programmer language, that ensure him it is not a specific variable, and gives
him some satisfaction to write in his own language :] same for function's
name and such things.
