why not?  don't know exactly what must be in that tag, but OpenOffice.org has 
a "property" data with author name and file description that should fit. 
right now I don't know what tag is used for such thing

It's too early, but what I could do is load the html part of my HOWTO with 
OOo and send it to you for examination.
