I have had that experience!
I posted a message to "discuss" about my experiences. I wrote an article
and posted it to a mailing list. It is sort of an introduction to "The
Linux Counter Project", and asks if the organization would be interested in
adding a link. One of the folks on the project translated the article to
Dutch to submit to orgs there, and just out of curiosity I tried an online
translator to try and get an idea how it read since I don't speak Dutch.
The English sentence read:
The Linux Counter's "Purpose" is located at:
http://counter.li.org/organization/charter.html and the "Privacy Policy" is
located at: http://counter.li.org/organization/privacy.php.
The Dutch translation from a person read: De doelstelling is beschreven in
het engels en is te vinden op:
http://counter.li.org/organization/charter.html terwijl de engelse tekst
over de privacy regels te vinden is op:
http://counter.li.org/organization/privacy.php.
I used the online InterTran Translator (http://www.tranexp.com:2000) and got
the following: The purpose is beschreven within the English and is within
think worn : organization /charter.html whilst the Englishwoman words via
the toilet rules within think is worn : organization /privacy.php.
Just goes to show ya, don't trust a machine! hehehe
