I was wondering if you ever heard back from the author! The
conversion linuxdoc->docbook is done in the publishing phase
(ld2db) but it's far from a perfect conversion. It still requires
a fair share of manual clean-up (maybe that's something I'll fix up
in the next month or so..)
You can go that route if you'd like...but I think at this point
I'd suggest (re-)submitting it as a mini-HOWTO. It is a good/valuable
document on it's own (I read thru it).
