Just thought I'd mention that KDE also has a style guide (or did have --
right now I can only find the Google cached copy --

Don't think it's quite what you have in mind, but it's another
resource.  Perhaps some of the people in that project would like to
collaborate on the ldp project -- if I can find an address I'll write to
them.
