I love it:

"Hi. You have just gotten a virus. Fortunately this one is harmless;
all it does is pop up this silly dialog box to let you know it's
here. It will pop up a few more times in the next month, and then
harmlessly remove itself. But the next virus may not be so benign. We
suggest you get yourself some good anti-virus software, or, better,
switch to an operating system which isn't quite so susceptible to the
damn things.

However, since I am not among those who think they can do anything
they want to someone else as long as it's for the victim's own good, I
would oppose even such a virus.
