I posted updated design notes for LDP development on my home page, see
http://scoop.lupercalia.net, on the front page. I listed the
technologies it's based on and some practical and pie-in-the-sky
future development plans/dreams.

Everyone who is interested in or who is affected by changes in our
publication system are kindly invited to read it and post your
thoughts. You may register on the site and post comments right on the
page if you wish.

But please take the time to read it carefully and post questions or
suggestions or criticisms. I will not dictate what the LDP does, but
if you do not engage in the process, you will get something you're
unhappy with and the project will be a failure. So please don't be shy
about speaking your mind, not that most of you are anyway. :-)

Thanks,
