we are already running a wiki for our group work here at ibiblio. for
small group work with a lot of trust to underpin it, wikis are great. i
think it would be okay for some documentation work too. the cvs's level of
control are wonderful for highly involved authors; wiki's looseness is
better for casual editors and authors. we'd be glad to set up linuxdoc
access (jem?) i think.

+During the night I was thinking about it, and
+it is possible to have two streams of work,
+one is current, based on application of new or
+revised documents by mail or directly by cvs,
+and second which allows interested people
+to put their documents on wiki software.
+We can make such a server, I think, at ibiblio,
+but i did not consult it with anyone.
+
+But each wikified document should have maintainer,
+which once a time will make sgml version of
+document and put it into major stream of linuxdoc.
+Unknown topic is how to convert wiki into sgml.
