sorry if I ask an already debated question, but due for excess of work, I 
can't follow all the threads.

is there a docbook validator/editor as is tidy for html? I try to keep on 
with emacs, but all these tags are very intimidating.

the better backend on my suse 7.2 is db2 (all the others gives errors on 
david online validator accepted sgml)

the feature I like on tidy is the -m modifying capability.
