I also downloaded OpenJade and tried compiling it from the
original site. It gives some problem with compiling. It didn't give
compilation error on the same cxx file as jade but a similar error on
a different file.

I set the SGML_CATALOG_FILES properly, but it seems the catalogs are
missing. I did exactly what was told on the linuxdoc page on my
laptop. Still the same problem.
It would be great if jade or openjade compiled on my linux laptop or
my department SunOS machine.
