Hello,
I am using RedHat Linux 6.2
I am not able to start X window enviornment
the trouble begin when i was setting the PATH variable in the /etc/profile file
On logging i recieve this message :
bash :/etc/profile : line 34 : syntax error : unexpected end of line 34
but the total lines in the file profile is 33
Also on starting the X window enviornment
I recieve this message :
_FontTransSocket UNIX Connect : can't connect errno =111
failed to set default font path ' unix / : - 1'
Fatal Server Error
could not open default font 'fixed'
if possible please send a copy of /etc/profile to the address :
####@####.####
