FYI, over the weekend, DV released a new version 2.4.5 of libxml2 
and 1.0.4 of libxslt (the package that contains the 'xsltproc'
command).  He says that he has now fixed most bugs... one of them
I noticed is that it now works better with FO.  More info is at:

and the FTP site for download is:

  ftp://ftp.xmlsoft.org/
