7. xsltproc and libxml from Gnome. I'm using them for my local
processing now. They are absolutely the fastest tool I have found yet.
I can run the Consultants-HOWTO in about 4 seconds. Small howtos run
typically in subsecond times.

Plus, no environment settings to worry about. Just pass an xsl
stylesheet on the command line, and that's that.

8. There is an email based docbook sgml processor at
####@####.#### Send a single .sgml file (the extension
matters) as a mime attachment, and you'll get back a message with log
information and a url to the html version and a text version.

This way you don't even have to install the tools at all.
