A couple of weeks ago I found Deb Richardson's (OSWG founder) homepage
(www.osdi.org). The redirect to it read "Later, all will become
clear". Well, it hasn't become clear. Her homepage weblog mentioned
that she had been playing video games and working. Her guestbook had
suggestions by others that she should stop playing video games. I
added to the guestbook a suggestion that she should write an obituary
for OSWG and CC to LDP.
I just went back to her site to add a note that LDP is getting most of
the HOWTOs which were on her OSWG. But I wasn't able to do it. All I
could find at her site now was a note that she was "bored with
weblogs" and the weblogs were gone. In fact, there was nothing else
on the site except this note. She also said that for now "I'm out".
So little has become clear except that she still exists but has
dropped out (of being active on the Internet) for reasons that are not
quite clear.
