Make sure the topic is obsolete. I thought my Serial HOWTO was
nearly obsolete, only to find that serial ports are being widely used
in imbedded systems.

I think that most all howtos that are kept for historical purposes
need some changes which explain how and why the topics described in the
howto became obsolete and what replaced them (and when).
