I browsed some mirrors and noticed most don't change anything to the
home page.

May be we should simply go back a step and ask mirors *not* to
advertise themselves on our pages, even the "sponsor" link, at least
witout asking us.

I beg we can't really forgive all, because some mirrors may be ibiblio
competitors not willing this advertisement :-)

do you think we have to go this way, or simply let me decide what is
acceptable or not? (I would prefere the first choice)
