(In a later post jdd mentioned that Google is often a better way to
find links.)  I think that all links should be only found in HOWTOs
and other LDP documentation.  What about links to Linux in general?
For this, there should be a HOWTO on Linux Internet Sites which would
contain comments as the the quality and usefulness of such sites(i.e.
reviews of these sites).  The links would be, of course, included in
the reviews.  This could be a wiki.

We need to insure that commercial companies don't get links from our
site unless it's appropriate, say in a hardware type of HOWTO, or the
like.  By getting a link from our site, they increase their rating
with search engines like Google.  On a personal note, someone offered
to pay me about $50 to put a link on my personal website.  I refused
since the link would not be appropriate.
