OpenOffice.org writer is widely known and often used to write
technical docs.

So it can be an entry point to new HOWTOs. I tried to write some
comments about Ooo use here:

Please feel free to edit this document.

I see two enhancements we could do: provide a template, test the xml
export.

Years ago, I used a lot Ooo, but it's no more the case now (I was even
the first one to push to an Ooo xml export). There are probably others
much more skilled than I am on this subject now.
